THE NEW COVENANT

Anyone having a heartfelt desire to seek truthful knowledge about God in our world today, should have an accurate understanding of The New Covenant. The definition of the word covenant is: “A solemn agreement between two or more persons or groups to do certain things.” Through our Creator’s promise to have an eternal covenant or agreement with mankind, the hope of everlasting life has been made possible!

Because there have been many different theories concerning this life-giving covenant, separating biblical facts from men’s ear-tickling fables is essential, and needs to be the point of emphasis! (2nd Timothy 2:25)

The apostle Paul was chosen by God to introduce how the arrival of Christ changed everything! Having faith in Jesus replaced the obedience to law…. for the whole human race!

(Ephesians 3:5, 6) “In other generations this secret was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by spirit, namely that people of the nations should be joint heirs and fellow members of the body and partakers with us of the promise in union with Jesus Christ through the good news.”

The sacrificial death of Christ Jesus validated a promise of a new covenant that would bring an end to the separations and divisions of people that had existed in the old law covenant. Being part of the seed of Abraham would no longer be exclusive only to the descendants of ancient Israel…. because of Christ, all people are now considered equal in the eyes of God…. and will have the same salvation opportunities through God’s plan that was told to the prophets. This website recently unveiled the details of God’s salvation plan that had remained hidden because of His tactical use of ancient similitudes and visions. (Revelation 10:7) (Hosea 12:10)

Today, the traditional belief of separating ancient Israel descendants from the future ecclesia or church of Christ has caused incredible blindness in understanding exactly who the prophet’s salvation prophecies are really referring to! Titus 1:10-14 describes exactly what occurs when Paul’s mission of preaching “A Light to the Nations” is ignored.

“For there are many unruly men, profitless talkers and deceivers of the mind, especially those men who adhere to the circumcision.”

“It is necessary to shut the mouths of these, as these very men keep on subverting entire households by teaching things they ought not for the sake of dishonest gain.”

“This witness is true. For this very cause keep on reproving them with severity, that they may be healthy in the faith, paying no attention to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn themselves away from the truth.”

Paul explains even more easy to understand facts in the 3rd chapter of Galatians concerning this mystery of Israel. He explains how the law was a tutor leading to Christ, then goes on to say:

“But now that faith has arrived we are no longer under a tutor.” “You are all, in fact, sons of God through your faith in Christ Jesus.” “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

These scriptures clearly reveal how Christ changed the world! If we continue to listen to deceiving men who teach the separation of people by clinging to the old law covenant, as Galatians 2:21 states, we are actually saying: “Christ died for nothing!”

The 31st chapter of Jeremiah describes every detail of God’s promise of a new covenant. Because Paul was given the responsibility to initially explain how and why the old covenant with ancient Israel would be replaced by a new and better covenant, he repeated Jeremiah’s prophetic words in the 8th chapter of Hebrews.

“But now he (Jesus) has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.”

“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.”

“Because finding fault with them, he says: “Behold, the days are coming, says The LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not according to the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them says the LORD.”

“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says The LORD: I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people.”

“In that he says, “A New Covenant,” he has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.”

The misunderstood identity of the people God is referring to when He says; “I will make a new covenant with ‘The House of Israel’ after those days” is one of the most misleading teachings in our world today!  Who are the people that God will put His laws in their minds and write them on their hearts? Who are the people the end-time prophecies are calling “the house of Israel”? The answer is….  Anyone that recognizes and accepts God’s word of truth in the final part of the days or in other words, everyone in Christ!

In order to understand this, we must understand that the term Israel no longer applies solely to the descendants of those who came out of Egypt! All people, (including natural descendants) now have equal opportunity to become part of a new creation that will be called…. The Israel of God!

(Galatians 6:15, 16) “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor un-circumcision avails anything, but a new creation.”

“And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.”

Some people try to put a number on this future Israel however as Hosea 1:10 explains, this is not possible!

“And the number of the sons of Israel must become like the sands of the sea that cannot be measured or numbered. And it must occur that in the place in which it used to be said to them, ‘You men are not my people,’ it will be said to them, ‘The sons of the living God.’

The definition of the word Israel actually reveals why God will always entitle His people by the name of Israel. It simply means; “One who contends for God or is a person of God”…. in His eyes. Therefore, God will call all of His people Israel into eternity. (Isaiah 44:3-5) Those who become part of His people, or “born again Israel” will experience a spiritual awakening when Jacob becomes Israel. (John 3:3-8) (Isaiah 66:5-20) (Isaiah 27:6)

The true identities of both Jacob and Israel in prophecy have completely sailed over the head of every religion of man! Properly understanding the story of Jacob’s name being changed to Israel is vital to understanding the re-birth of God’s people. This re-birth will occur immediately before God’s Kingdom begins to rule and the ideals of His heart are fulfilled!!! (Genesis 35:1-11)

Would a perfectly just God that knows our inner feelings, (1st Samuel 16:7) choose a person because of his ancestry?……. or would He choose people because of their righteous qualities on the inside??? Read Romans 2:28, 29 for the bible’s simple answer to a problem that has stumped the world!

Paul’s irrefutable story of how Christ established the equal right for all mankind to become the Israel of God is told at Ephesians 2:13-18. Pay close attention and you will further understand the need to stop listening to false teachers who continue to build back the wall between ancient Israel and the rest of the world…. the very wall that Jesus tore down!

“But now in Christ Jesus you who were once far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

“For he himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in his flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that he might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.” “And he came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.”

“For through him we both have access by one spirit to the Father.”

Since it is very evident Paul’s mission was to inform the world Christ gave his life for a new covenant that would eliminate divisions and separations, we could legitimately ask the questions…. What was the purpose of the old covenant and why does the bible relate all the events of the original people God called Israel?

1st Corinthians 10:11 explains: “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”

This profound scripture is certainly self-explanatory, especially when we realize the bible’s prophecies are aimed directly at the new creation of Israel during the conclusion of this system of things!

A fact not understood by any man-made religion is that God’s word of truth will not come onto the world scene again until the final part of the days…. even though this latter day appearance is prophesied in literally hundreds of scriptures! (Jeremiah 23:18-20) (Jeremiah 30:22-24) (Malachi 4:5)

Those who speak from the altars will never accept the fact there is an end-time truth coming that will reprove their many false teachings and expose the money schemes that rob people in the name of God. They will never acknowledge anything that would jeopardize everything they have built. Jesus was once killed for exposing religious malfeasance, but not this time! As the prophecy of Revelation 6:1, 2 boldly proclaims: The Word will go forth conquering to complete the conquest this time!!!

When God originally chose a people out of the world to call His own, He established an example or pattern for His actions of the end times! He will once again look down and choose people from our world to live under the new covenant. The life that awaits all who show their love and appreciation for God and His end-time word of truth is vividly described at Isaiah 61:6-8.

“They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the nations, and in their glory you shall boast. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.”

“For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, and will make with them an everlasting covenant.”

Men may tell you their church represents this everlasting covenant, however anyone can see this type of life has as yet, never existed! This is why the new covenant is referred to by the scriptures as being a promise. Down through the ages, since the departure of Jesus, the very component that will become the center piece of the new covenant has been missing…. Truth! (Isaiah 59:9-15)

Before Jesus left this earth, he described how an arrival of truth would take place during the final part of the days. A fact the altars of men cannot and will not understand is…. the timing of this arrival is verified through John’s vision of the opening of the first seal at Revelation 6:1, 2. It is the key factor and first action of the revelation of Jesus Christ! (Revelation 1:1)

Listen to the words of Jesus at John 16:12, 13.

“I have many things yet to say to you, but you are not able to bear them at present.” “However, when that true one arrives, the spirit of the truth, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak of his own impulse, but what things he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things coming.”

The arrival of truth will be the uniting factor of God’s people, giving birth to the born again creature of Israel. Being born again is certainly not accomplished through the whim of an altar call! God’s people will be born again when those who love Him begin to call upon Him in truth! (Psalms 145:18)

The spirit of truth will have the same effect on many righteous people as the spirit of Jesus had on Paul. (Acts 9:1-6) Paul had no idea his knowledge was not in line with the truth of God. When he saw the light created by the spirit of Jesus, he changed his thinking! Everyone captivated by the false teachings of men will have the opportunity to see the light of truth. This is why the prophets referred to today’s entire religious world as “the captive ones of Jacob.” One of the bible’s stories of when and how people that are now scattered all over the world…. will become God’s people is told at Ezekiel 39:21-29.

If you have listened to the altars of men, you no doubt believe this prophetic vision is referring to the ancestors of the ancient people God called Israel. The fact is; the Jewish religion will need to undergo the same “change of thinking” as all other religions of men…. or all other captive ones of Jacob! God’s word is not about…. nor is it directed to…. 1 or 2 percent of the earth’s population, it’s speaking to everyone! Whether we’re from Israel or Idaho, we will all have the opportunity to become “The Israel of God.” Why? Because our fair and just God doesn’t consider where we live or who our forefathers were…. He looks into our hearts! That’s why the fleshly circumcision of the old covenant merely foreshadowed the great change of the new and better covenant…. Circumcision of the heart! (Ezekiel 36:24-27)

The most important factor for everyone during this time period…. is recognizing God’s word of truth when it arrives! We’ve all heard it said, “We must accept Jesus and take him into our hearts.” In order to do this, we must realize how the scriptures use a very intuitive play on words to emphasize an extremely important fact…. Jesus is The Word of God! He is the logos, which means the word of truth. John 1:9 continues a play on words that took place when the revelation of Christ began.

“The true light that gives light to every sort of man was about to come into the world.”

How can you be among the few who will recognize that light and take it into your heart? The first step is the discernment of this world’s religious wrongdoings. Falsehoods have flourished all around us, and come in many different forms…. Truth however, is singular. The bible provides clue after clue of how it will appear. The first clue is where not to look! Ironically, it’s the very places most of the world considers the first place, to look.

Isaiah 17:7, 8 states that in that day men will learn to look directly to God Himself. “He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands; he will not respect what his fingers have made, nor the wooden images nor the incense stands.”

As the rest of this chapter clearly explains, before any man can open his heart fully to God, he must flee away and rebuke the falsehoods taught in the temples of men. God can then fulfill His promise to write His truth on your mind and in your heart. Looking directly to God, through His Word of Truth and listening solely to the end-time voice of God is exactly the way He will build His temple inside you!!! (Read Jeremiah 7:4 & Zechariah 6:15 for further details)

God not only tells you where not to look, He also tells you where His end-time truth will be found. Just as He made a way through the sea for ancient Israel, He will also make a road for the virgin Israel. (Jeremiah 31:4)

Isaiah 43:18-21 foretells the story that is now beginning to take place.

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.”

“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.”

“This people I have formed for myself; they shall declare my praise.”

Down through the ages when God’s Israel strayed from proper worship, did He use groups of people and organizations to bring them back to Him? No. He always used individuals!  (Isaiah 49:5, 6) (Isaiah 45:13)

Today it is prophesied to occur in the same way. The truth will start like a mustard seed in this big wide world! As it grows and blossoms intelligent thinkers who look to God, will recognize it and gather to it. This is why Isaiah 35:8 says that no foolish ones will be on the way of holiness!

As Isaiah 40:3 foretells, the very thing that prepares the highway to our God will be something totally apart from the 1.2 trillion dollar industry of men’s religions! It will be a voice crying out in the wilderness! A voice that will be absolutely free! All anyone has to do…. Is Listen.
