The 4th Thunder: God’s Sacred Secret

In the 10th chapter of Revelation a strong angel with a rainbow upon his head, is holding a little scroll that contains The Seven Thunders. When he began to speak, the resounding effect of The Seven Thunders was just as when a lion roars! But as the apostle John beheld the dynamic roar, he heard a voice out of heaven say: “Seal up the things The Seven Thunders spoke and do not write them down.” The angel then raised his right hand and swore to The One who created all things: “In the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to blow his trumpet, the sacred secret of God according to the good news which He declared to His own slaves the prophets is indeed brought to a finish.”

John was then told to take the opened scroll and eat it up. And even though it would taste as sweet as honey, it would make his belly bitter. The bottom line of the message was; “You must prophesy again with regard to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings.”

How will this extremely important prophecy impact us today? Before that question is answered we should clearly understand why we are quoting from a translation that uses the term “sacred secret” rather than the more commonly used word, “mystery.” In the original manuscripts the Greek word these replaced was “musterion.” Although many bible versions render musterion as “mystery,” it is not a clear translation. In fact, mystery is a transliteration of the word musterion, not a translation. The prefix “trans” means “across,” and the Latin littera means “letter.” Thus transliteration is “bringing across the letters.” In contrast, “translation” is bringing the meaning of a word in one language across into another language. If we are going to have the meaning of the Greek brought into English, we must translate, not transliterate.

The English word “mystery” means something that is incomprehensible, beyond understanding, unknowable. In contrast, a secret is something that is known by someone but unknown by others. The Greek word musterion does not mean something that’s beyond understanding, it means a secret in the sacred or spiritual realm that must be made known by God. This has been well documented by Greek scholars. (www.truthortradition.com is one source, among many others.) The fact that musterion refers to a “secret” and not to our standard meaning of “mystery” is vital…. because through the information contained in the little scroll, we are about to learn many details of how our God will provide salvation for all righteous mankind! Every step of His hidden plan of salvation has been written all through the prophets!

The definition of the word musterion is: The thought or plan of God which is hidden from the world and kept secret to ordinary eyes, awaiting fulfillment or revelation at the appointed time, to those for whom it is intended. A musterion is something quite unintelligible to the uninitiated but made crystal clear to the initiated by only, divine revelation.

Isaiah 62:10, 11 actually describes the moment when God’s musterion will be made public by those who have broken through the gates of men’s religions. “Pass out, pass out through the gates, you men. Clear the way of the people. Bank up, bank up the highway. Rid it of stones, raise up a signal for the peoples.” Look! Jehovah himself has caused it to be heard to the farthest part of the earth. ‘Say, you people, to the daughter of Zion, Look! Your salvation is coming.”

Therefore, discern the scriptures carefully…. Listen intently…. as the sealed up seven thunders, once again……Roar like a Lion!

How could God have hidden His method of salvation in the prophets even though there are details of it on practically every page? This sounds highly impossible, it is however, the very reason the sacred secret has remained hidden down to this day. The scripture at (Hosea 12:10 kjv) confirms how God has spoken to us. “I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes by the ministry of the prophets.” The word similitude means: likeness, resemblance, counterpart, allegory, an imaginative comparison.

Since no part of the bible was written any less than 2000 years ago, all places, peoples and events are of the ancient world. In order for God’s word to reveal the ultimate destiny and purpose of mankind; counterparts, allegories and likenesses would have to be used! Even though we would all agree this is logical, practically all of men’s modern day religions use the ancient entities in a strictly literal sense. As a result, when the prophets are revealing the sacred secret God declared to them, total blindness occurs! Proper understanding of the real meanings is lost. Instead of being a light to the nations, His musterion becomes meaningless history.

Before we can understand God’s sacred secret we must discern how God uses words, rather than to be led astray by how men use them. We also must understand what the designed recurring patterns of ancient events represent.

The primary reason the real meanings of the prophets have remained disguised for centuries is because of men’s failure to uncover hidden identities. Incorrect identification of peoples and places creates the stumbling block errors that have caused men’s falsehoods to flourish…. and their famine of knowledge. (Amos 8:11, 12) Three key identification errors have been Esau, Jacob and Israel.

Abraham had 2 sons, Isaac and Ishmael. We are told via a symbolic drama in the 4th chapter of Galatians, the promise of the new covenant would come through Isaac, who was born of Abraham’s wife Sarah, the free woman. Isaac also had 2 sons, Esau and Jacob. Esau, who was the 1st born, did not value his birthright, therefore he traded it to Jacob for a mere bowl of red stew. (Genesis 25:33, 34) This apathetic betrayal is a pattern of not only the original old covenant Israel, but also people in today’s world that have no interest whatsoever in God’s promised better covenant, or anything else concerning Him. (Hebrews 8:6, 9) God declares their future at (Obadiah 18) “There will prove to be no survivor in the house of Esau.”

Jacob on the other hand was concerned with God’s promises. (Romans 9:7) He pursued the birthright blessing from Isaac and obtained it through a deceptive identification switch that’s described in Genesis 27. This pattern of deception has continued down to this day in the identity of the house of Jacob. None of men’s religions currently know the correct identity of the house of Jacob!

As we learned in the symbolic dramas of Galatians and Romans, God would reveal His covenant through Isaac’s twin sons, Esau and Jacob. At (Genesis 25:23) God told Isaac’s wife Rebekah before their birth, “Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels.” He also said at (Romans 9:13) “I loved Jacob, but Esau I hated.”

This was a designed pattern by God, depicting the 2 types of people that exist in our world today! There are those that are Godly and have a desire to please God, and those that have no desire to please God, and never would under any circumstance. Everyone on the face of the earth is one or the other!

When we see the term, “house of Jacob” in the prophet’s prophecies, we should now understand exactly who they’re talking about. The house of Jacob represents everyone who has the potential to gain salvation in the eyes of God. Since the new covenant is a covenant of the heart, only His opinion matters. The majority of the ones God considers the house of Jacob are currently at ease with their heavenly hopes and continue to trust in the mountains of their false religions that have covered the earth. The bible makes their identification clear at (Amos 6:1). “Woe to those who are at ease in Zion and to those trusting in the mountains of Samaria. They are the distinguished ones of the chief part of the nations.”

Is Judaism or any other single religion, a chief part of the nations? Absolutely not! The house of Jacob is the term God uses to distinguish everyone in all religions, who will have the opportunity to repent, make a turnaround, and change their form of worship! Many will say this prophecy is of no concern to today’s world, however, chapter 5 verses 18 & 20 of Amos definitely set the time period into our day…. as the coming day of the LORD!

“Woe to those who are craving the day of Jehovah. What then, will the day of Jehovah mean to you people? “Will not the day of Jehovah be darkness, and not light; and will it not have gloom, and not brightness?”

Verses 21 and 23 continue on, showing God’s disgust with the house of Jacob’s current worship methods.“I have hated, I have rejected your festivals, and I shall not enjoy the smell of your solemn assemblies.” “Remove from me the turmoil of your songs; and the melodious sound of your stringed instruments may I not hear.”

Amos 6:8 confirms that all of these scriptures are referring to the prisoners of false teachings and worship……the captive ones of the house of Jacob.

“The Sovereign Lord Jehovah has sworn by his own soul, is the utterance of Jehovah the God of armies, “I am detesting the pride of Jacob, and his dwelling towers I have hated, and I will deliver up the city and what fills it.”

Now that we know the correct identity of Jacob in the prophecies, the very critical term of Israel should be much easier to clearly understand. The final salvation of the ones God terms “Israel” is the focal point of the entire bible. All the prophet’s declarations of salvation are aimed at a people that will eventually become God’s Israel…..also the apostle Paul’s main assignment was to make known how Christ’s sacrificial death changed who the title of Israel now applies.

As an aid for us to understand the transition of that title from the old covenant people, to all people, we should recall the designed pattern of Jacob’s nightlong wrestling with an angel. After the stubborn Jacob finally succumbed, the angel declared; “because you have contended with God and prevailed, your name will no longer be called Jacob, but Israel will your name become.” (Genesis 32:24-28)

This prophecy will be fulfilled when the house of Jacob…. or the prisoners of this world’s false forms of worship, succumbs to real truth. When this futuristic event is fulfilled, God’s sacred secret will indeed, be brought to a finish. Until then, most of the house of Jacob will continue their perch on Jacob’s ladder, stubbornly refusing to accept anything other than their awaiting heavenly throne, despite God’s promise of land. (Genesis 28:14) (Isaiah 14:13) They currently, refuse to even consider…. a need to change their form of worship.

The definition of the word Jacob is: To supplant, or transfer; to cheat with strong constitution; refuse to be subdued. The definition of the word Israel is: One who strives, perseveres, and contends for God; a soldier of God, a man of God. Isaiah 44:4, 5 describes the time period when Jacob becomes Israel: “They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams.” “One will say, ‘I belong to the Lord,’ another will call himself by the name of Jacob; still another will write on his hand, ‘the Lord’s and take the name Israel.”

Does it make sense that these people will take the surname Israel because someone in their lineage happened to come out of Egypt over 3000 years ago? No! Genetic makeup can change completely even in one generation. God will call them Israel because they will be chosen by Him for their individual righteousness! Therefore, should we actually think these choices of people will be based on race, nationality and ancestry? (Ezekiel 14:14, 16, 18) Many of God’s future new covenant people are taught this very lie every day! The original nation of Israel was a model used by God in order to create a pattern for His actions in the final days of this system. He will once again choose people from all nations and all walks of life to become a new creation, His Israel. At that time, Israel will be born again, and the new covenant will begin.
|
(Galatians 6:15, 16) “For neither is circumcision anything nor is uncircumcision, but a new creation is something.” “And all those who will walk orderly by this conduct, upon them be peace and mercy, even upon the Israel of God.”

When most people in our world today read the bible, they automatically apply the word Israel to the little country men have named Israel and its prominent religion, Judaism. This type of literal thinking causes them to make a separation between Christianity’s method of salvation and Judaism’s. (Jude 19) This worldwide philosophy or teaching actually builds back the wall that Jesus gave his life to tear down! When the millions upon millions of people do this, they are clinging to the old law covenant, which is now obsolete, instead of the one Jesus came to establish. They might as well be saying, “Christ died for nothing!” (Galatians 2:21)

Hebrews 8:13 states: “In his saying ‘a new covenant,’ he has made the former covenant obsolete. Now, that which is made obsolete and growing old is near to vanishing away.”

Ephesians 2:11-18 further sets the matter straight on this worldwide lie that has greatly contributed to the blindness of the prophet’s good news!

“Therefore keep bearing in mind that formally you were people of the nations as to flesh; “uncircumcision” you were called by that which is called “circumcision” made in the flesh with hands-that you were at that particular time without Christ, alienated from the state of Israel and strangers to the covenants of the promise, and you had no hope and were without God in the world.” “But now in union with Christ Jesus you who were once far off have come to be near by the blood of Christ.”

For he is our peace, he who made the two parties one and destroyed the wall in between that fenced them off.”

“By means of his flesh he abolished the enmity, the law of commandments consisting in decrees, that he might create the two peoples in union with himself into one new man and make peace, and that he fully reconcile both peoples in one body to God through the torture stake, because he had killed off the enmity by means of himself, and he came and declared the good news of peace to you, the ones far off and peace to those near, “because through him we, both peoples, have the approach to the Father by one spirit.”

Judaism and most religions that are called Christian, claim when someone says natural Jewish descendants are no longer exclusively God’s chosen people, they are adhering to a replacement theory. The fact is this: Christ gave his life, not to replace Jewish descendants, but to extend what was once only theirs, to all people in the human race. After his sacrificial death, everyone will have equal opportunity for salvation. This thunder will reveal, for the first time, how this salvation will be carried out through God’s sacred secret! You will see how the prophets have disclosed God’s perfectly fair and just plan that will provide worldwide salvation opportunity for all deserving people…..in the same time period…..and in the same manner!

The atrocity of all man-made religions insisting on separating people into different categories of salvation has continued, because they cannot understand how God uses the term Israel, or how and when Jacob will become Israel. (Genesis 35:2, 10) They would never accept the fact…..they themselves are the error-plagued house of Jacob in the prophecies, of whom the prophets say, must repent and change their ways! (Isaiah 27:9-11) (Isaiah 29:22-24) (Isaiah 48:1) (Jeremiah 5:20-31)

Some people today, claim their religion exclusively represents both Jacob and Israel. It’s amazing their members, whom they say is Jacob, still think they are in the world’s only true religion, when they read about the many flaws and falsehoods the house of Jacob must overcome in these scriptures! |

The next 2 words that are stumbling blocks preventing men from understanding God’s sacred secret are Zion and Jerusalem. At Zechariah 8:3 God Himself makes a powerful statement that will be the key factor in everyone’s future.

“I will return to Zion and reside in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem will certainly be called the city of trueness, and the mountain of the LORD Almighty, the holy mountain.”

Is this statement strictly literal, as most claim? Or is it an example of a similitude or vision God declared He would use in the prophets? We must remember, God’s thoughts and ways are much higher than ours. (Isaiah 55:8, 9) We cannot allow His symbolic lingo and deft play on words to continually fly over our heads.

Throughout the bible, God proclaims He will rule from Mt. Zion…. His Holy Mountain…. over Jerusalem…. His Holy City. It’s mandatory that we realize these proclamations are stated to us in a paradigmatic form. The act of using a subject in a paradigmatic form is precisely defined in Webster’s international dictionary as: “to set forth a model, from an old situation.” Recognizing the prophets have used this method is the most important factor in properly understanding their prophecies! When our leaders use a paradigmatic prophecy in a literal sense, God’s plan of salvation, that is the subject of all the prophets, is overlooked. As the word paradigm suggests…. they can’t see the forest for the trees!

What was Zion historically? It was originally the Jebusite stronghold that came to be called the city of David. (1st Chronicles 11:5) After capturing Mount Zion, David established his royal residence there. (2nd Samuel 5:6, 7, 9) Zion became a mountain holy to God when David had the Ark of the Covenant transferred there. (2nd Samuel 6:17) Since the Ark was associated with God’s presence, (Exodus 25:22) (Leviticus 16:2) and because Zion was a symbol of heavenly realities, Zion is referred to as the place of God’s dwelling, (Psalms 9:11 & 132:13, 14) and the place from which help, blessings and salvation would come! (Psalms 14:7 & 134:3)

As these scriptures show, Zion symbolizes the heavenly position of God’s ruling presence. Will our omnipresent God come to the actual little hill that is beside today’s city of Jerusalem? Even though this claim is constantly heard from many of the altars of men, anyone with logic should understand this is quite ridiculous! The literal Mt. Zion has actually been used as a dump. In 1993 it was reported to contain over 40 feet of garbage!

This is the fact: God uses titles of antiquity as metaphors in the prophecies of future events! How could places and peoples that didn’t even exist at that time be named?

God’s paradigmatic use of the word “Jerusalem” has caused as much confusion and darkness in prophecy, as even the word “Israel.” Historically, Jerusalem was the city where worship of the God of Israel was carried on, hence the many references of it being the holy city, or city of peace. If we adhere to the Hebrew spelling, which should logically govern, its meaning would suggest a dual form, or “twofold peace.” The intended proper definition is: “Possession or Foundation of Twofold Peace.” This twofold peace is in reference to peace in the heavens, and peace on earth. Therefore the accurate definition of the word Jerusalem is in perfect harmony with (2nd Peter 3:13)

“But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to the promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.”

When we pray “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” we are actually praying for the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem John saw in vision at Revelation 21:2 will come down from heaven and restore Jerusalem on earth. Their unification will fulfill the next verse at Revelation 21:3. “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them.”

The term “New Jerusalem” further substantiates the fact “Jerusalem” is used in a metaphoric sense. The original Greek word that was translated “new,” more accurately refers to “rejuvenated.” This is mentioned because so many have erroneously taught the earth will be destroyed and replaced with a brand new one. (Ecclesiastes 1:4) (Psalms 104:5) (Isaiah 45:18)

Throughout ancient history Jerusalem was torn down and rebuilt no less than 17 times, more than any city in history. The tearing down periods were caused by the infiltration of pagan or false worship. During these times, God’s blessings were lost. When proper worship was restored, God’s blessings returned and Jerusalem was rebuilt. These repetitious events form a pattern much closer to our lives today than people realize.

The false methods of worship in today’s world have, once again, replaced pure worship. This fact is verified in a similitude throughout the 59th chapter of Isaiah. (Isaiah 59:4, 14) “There has been a trusting of unreality, and a speaking of worthlessness. And Justice was forced to move back, and righteousness itself kept standing far off. For truth has stumbled in the public square and what is straightforward is unable to enter.”

The world’s current situation, as envisioned by the prophet Habakkuk, has fulfilled this prophecy. Jerusalem is in a torn down state once again! Understanding what this statement means will be mandatory if we are to discern what the “Jerusalem” of prophecy truly represents. First of all, it has nothing to do with our literal city in the Middle East as most have been taught. God uses the word Jerusalem in a metaphoric form to represent a habitation or place where He will establish a restoration of pure worship. This paradigmatic Jerusalem is represented by the phrase; “rebuilding or creating Jerusalem.” Knowing this fact will cause many, many scriptures, such as (Isaiah 65:18, 19) to jump to life!

“But exult, you people, and be joyful forever in what I am creating, for here I am creating Jerusalem a cause for joyfulness and her people a cause for exultation.”

“And I will be joyful in Jerusalem and exult in my people, and no more will there be heard in her the sound of weeping or the sound of a plaintive cry.”

Today, our intellectual leaders continually proclaim the literal city of Jerusalem, as being the place God will rule from and the place where Jesus will come back. They do this while remaining completely unaware of God’s sacred secret. (Matthew 11:25, 26) God promises to frustrate their foolish knowledge and rebuild the Jerusalem they have devastated!

(Isaiah 44:25, 26) “I am frustrating the signs of the empty talkers, and I am the One that makes diviners themselves act crazily, the One turning wise men backwards, and the One that turns even their knowledge into foolishness.”

“The One making the word of his servant come true, and the One that carries out completely the counsel of his own messengers, the One saying of Jerusalem, she will be inhabited, and the cities of Judah, “They will be rebuilt, and her devastated places I shall raise up.”

These scriptures confirm that God is indeed associating their nonsensical teachings with their inability to understand His real meaning of Jerusalem.

At this point, you’re no doubt thinking; “If the Jerusalem of prophecy isn’t the literal city in the Middle East, just what is it?” This enigma is the very heartbeat of the musterion! Remember, the enlightenment of the musterion is only for those whom it is intended! So, open your minds and even more importantly…. your hearts…. as God’s word reveals how salvation for every deserving person on earth, will be carried out!

The reality and purpose behind these future events is this: God is going to prepare this world for the millennial reign of His son Jesus Christ. Before the eternal rule of His Kingdom can be established, He will systematically build the foundation of what will be the essence of life under that Kingdom’s rule…. pure worship! This is the real meaning of Isaiah 44:28, when God states; “Even in my saying of Jerusalem, ‘She will be rebuilt’, and of the temple, ’You will have your foundation laid.’

God is not talking about a literal building, as many leaders today contend. He does not need men to build Him a temple! (Acts 7:49 & 17:24) The foundation of the temple is allegoric for the beginning of pure worship. The people learning that God wants to be worshiped from the heart….not the front row, will be the temple. (read: 1st Corinthians 3:16)

We can read a similitude verifying this event, at (Hosea 2:14-23.) It confirms this opportunity will be available for anyone, and that God will remove the falsehoods from people’s mouths and sow the seed of proper worship. He will say, to those not his people, “You are my people.” And they will say, “You are my God.”

Your next question might be; “Who will God use to plant the seed of pure worship in this paradigmatic Zion and Jerusalem?” The prophet Jeremiah answers that question at (Jeremiah 3:14, 15) “I will take you, one out of a city and two out of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.” “I will give you shepherds in agreement with my heart, and they will certainly feed you with knowledge and insight.”

We can certainly have confidence in our future teachers, for as we can see, no person will make that choice. It will be God’s alone. Isaiah 30:20 continues explaining this same event and time period.

“Although the LORD gives you the bread of adversity and the waters of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more, with your own eyes you will see them.”

These future teachers are identified in the prophecies as Jews. The scripture at Zechariah 8:23 explains this fact. “It will be in those days that ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold, yes, they will actually take hold of the skirt of a man who is a Jew, saying: ‘We will go with you people, for we have heard that God is with you people.” God’s use of the very misconstrued term “Jew” that sprang from the word Judah, is defined at (Romans 2:28, 29) “For he is not a Jew who is one on the outside, nor is circumcision that which is on the outside upon the flesh.” “But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by spirit, and not by a written code. The praise of that one comes, not from men, but from God.”

No reasonable person could read these scriptures and not realize that a “Jew” could be anyone! A “Jew” in God’s eyes today, is a person who is agreeable to God’s heart…..period. It has nothing to do with anything his ancestors did 3500 years ago! This is yet another example of God’s use of ancient lingo that continually flies over the heads of this world’s religious leaders. They currently can’t comprehend the fact their worship is heavily polluted with untrue teachings. The truth that will be spoken by God’s chosen teachers will fulfill God’s repeated promise to create a Jerusalem that will be a city of truth, eventually covering the earth, and remaining forever.

Let’s read a few scriptures that confirm how truth will be restored. (Isaiah 59:20, 21)
|“The redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins, declares the LORD. “As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD. “My spirit, that is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever, says the LORD.”

Another prophet who is speaking about the exact same event is Jeremiah. He relates in chapter 31 verses 31-33; “The time is coming, declares the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them.”

“This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people.”

The prophet Isaiah is practically non-stop in reporting God’s salvation plan for all deserving mankind. His declarations of Zion and Jerusalem continue in chapter 62 verse 1. “For the sake of Zion I shall not keep still, and for the sake of Jerusalem I shall not stay quiet until her righteousness goes forth just like the brightness, and her salvation like a torch that burns.”

These scriptures are completely synonymous with, and re-emphasize the scripture we previously read at Zechariah 8:3. Hundreds of scriptures from the prophets could be listed here, because they are all talking about the identical future event, even though they were individually inspired.

Another fact that must be discerned is the scope of the world at the time the prophecies were written in comparison to our world today. At that time only a very small portion of the earth was in use. The original Jerusalem was a prototype for the future Jerusalem that is the subject of the prophet’s visions.

Prototype is defined as: an original on which a thing is modeled; romantically identifying the new republic with the ancient; one of the ideas or patterns in the divine mind after the likeness of which created things are made.

The prototypical Jerusalem represented the center of pure worship for the entire ancient world’s population. Does it make sense that same ancient city would represent the center of worship in a world that has now seen its population explode to the point of covering the entire earth? Is it feasible to assume millions upon millions of people will converge on the rocks and sand of literal Jerusalem? Does that sound like a comfortable environment for teaching and learning? This brings us to the next question that is no doubt on your mind. If the re-building of the future paradigmatic Jerusalem will not take place where we have been taught, just where will it be and what will cause it to impact the lives of all righteous people? The great gathering of Israel to Jerusalem, God’s word repeatedly says will occur in the final part of the days, is far different than bible readers have perceived!

In order to properly understand the gathering of Israel to Jerusalem in the last days, we must consider the ancient events of God’s designed recurring patterns. The very reason these stories were told was to provide enlightenment to the events of God’s final salvation plan. If this was not the intention, much of God’s word would be meaningless history. Our incredibly intelligent Creator doesn’t operate that way!

Every time God had something specifically in mind for someone, or saved them from a coming destruction, He commanded they go to a place of His choosing! Deuteronomy 12:5 sets the precedent. “But you are to seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go.”

This theme is constant throughout the bible! Abraham was told to leave the place where false worship was dominant. Lot was told to leave Sodom before it was destroyed. Elijah was told to go to a certain location, once there the ravens would feed him. Why did the 120 receive the Holy Spirit in the upper room? Because they went to the place they were told to go. The people outside of that location did not experience the Holy Spirit. |

We are all familiar with Israel’s original exodus out of Egypt and their escape from captivity. This grand climactic story that ended the many years of struggles and hardships of God’s people has much more meaning for our day than anyone can dare to fathom!! Their escape from the captivity of Egypt’s idolatrous traditions, gave them the opportunity to serve and worship their God without interference, and under His guidance. This story is a prototype for an end-time event that was declared to the prophets and has remained hidden for centuries!

Look! God will cause to become; another exodus! This one will be for the virgin Israel, and it will be world-wide! It will mark the beginnings of the most spectacular event in mankind’s history! At Isaiah 43:15-19 God’s voice thunders forth! And positively makes distinction between the former exodus and the end-time exodus!

“I am the LORD, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator, your King.” “This is what the LORD says—he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters,” “who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: “Forget the former things; do not dwell in the past.” “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”

(Isaiah 11:11, 12, 16) further explains God’s second gathering of His people. As always, places of antiquity are used. “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people.” “And he will set up a signal for the nations and gather the dispersed ones of Israel and the scattered ones of Judah he will collect together from the four extremities of the earth.”

“And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.” |

The term “highway” is again used at (Isaiah 35:8, 10) to symbolize the reality….that a journey to the places where Jerusalem will be created will actually occur. As it states; no foolish ones will be on the way of holiness…. they will remain in the midst of the tribulation. A foolish minded person will never understand what the prophecies of Zion and Jerusalem truly represent!

(Psalms 84:5, 7) continues to use the term “highway” to symbolize the same event. “Happy are the men whose strength is in you. In whose heart are the highways” “They will walk on from vital energy to vital energy. Each one appears to God in Zion.”

(Jeremiah 31:21) again confirms there will be a way out for the virgin Israel, just as there was for the prototypical Israel. “Set up road marks for yourself, place signposts for yourself. Fix your heart upon the highway, the way that you will have to go. Come back, O virgin of Israel. Come back to these cities of yours.”

Do you perceive it now? Once we have understanding of the future exodus to the places where God will create Jerusalem, it should remain in our hearts with anticipation. (Jeremiah 51:50)

When the tribulation begins and the sign of Jonah creates the desperate confusion of the watery deep, will you push aside the traditional teachings of men, and obey God? Will you go to the places where He will create Jerusalem and help build in the temple of pure worship? Your life and the lives of your loved ones will depend on that decision! Zechariah 6:15 puts this future situation into reality.

“And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.”

It is realized this sounds very strange to people who are currently guided by the religions of men. Rather than comparing teachings that are destined for destruction to God’s method of salvation, let’s continue to allow the bible to explain the perfection, fairness and justness of God’s plan, as He declared to the prophets.

The prophet Zechariah proclaims more good news about the rebirth of the virgin Israel and their future exodus to paradigmatic Jerusalem. Zechariah 8:6-10 begins with the voice of God once again, acknowledging the fact that His people will have a difficult time perceiving the new things the prophets are really talking about.

“This is what Jehovah of armies has said, ‘Although it should seem too difficult in the eyes of the remaining ones of this people in those days, should it seem too difficult also in my eyes?’ is the utterance of Jehovah of armies.”

“This is what Jehovah of armies has said, ‘Here I am saving my people from the land of the sunrise, and from the land of the setting of the sun.”

“And I shall certainly bring them in, and they must reside in the midst of Jerusalem, and they must become my people, and I myself shall become their God in trueness and in righteousness.”

“This is what Jehovah of armies has said, ‘Let the hands of you people be strong, You who are hearing in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets, on the day on which the foundation of the house of Jehovah of armies was laid, for the temple to be built.”

“For before those days there were no wages for mankind made to exist, and as for the wages of domestic animals, there was no such thing, and to the one going out and to the one coming in there was no peace because of the adversary, as I kept thrusting all mankind against one another.”

There will be no wages or rewards for any man before this fair and just, end-time teaching and learning event takes place! The days for meting out justice have not yet arrived! Zechariah 4:10 gives cause for intense discernment: The days before the plummet is set, are days of small things. The plummet will be set by those seven; they are the eyes of God which run to and fro through the whole earth………..Your initial contact with the real 7 thunders will not require a joining of anything. But it may require something only God can see……discern carefully. (Mathew 12:31)

Micah 3:9-12 describes the ones who will reject the plummet line of the 7 thunders, and remain at ease in their concept of Zion.“Hear please, this, you head ones of the house of Jacob and you commanders of the house of Israel, the ones detesting justice and the ones who make even everything that is straight crooked,” “building Zion with acts of bloodshed and Jerusalem with unrighteousness.”

“Her own head ones judge merely for a bribe, and her own priests instruct just for a price, and her own prophets practice divination simply for money, yet upon Jehovah they keep supporting themselves, saying: ‘Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? There will come upon us no calamity.” “Therefore on account of you men Zion will be plowed up as a mere field, and Jerusalem herself will become mere heaps of ruins, and the mountain of the house will be as the high places of a forest.”

Many of the head ones of the house of Jacob continually proclaim they are now fulfilling bible prophecy by bringing descendants of ancient Israel into the literal Jerusalem area…. just send more money and they’ll keep flying them in.

It takes very little initiative to realize nothing about these excursions matches the prophecies. Are they people brought back from the sword of the tribulation? (Ezekiel 38:8) Have they been collected out of every nation to re-inhabit and rebuild devastated places? Are they dwelling in security and accumulating wealth and property? (Ezekiel 38:12) Are they making spoil of those who had been making spoil of them, and plundering those who had plundered them? (Ezekiel 39:10) Are these misinformed people coming into an area that is flourishing with the peace, love and righteousness all the prophets have described??

Here are the facts about this counterfeit gathering! They are being brought into an area of constant turmoil! All types of uproars surround them! Rockets and missiles are going off all around them! Fights and quarrels are daily events! Hardly a day goes by without news of innocent deaths and threats for even bigger disasters. The entire area is a ticking time bomb!

Isaiah 51:11 & 52:1-3, 9, 10, 12 and many, many other scriptures, just doesn’t match the tumultuous situations these people are coming in to! The leaders who claim they are now fulfilling Israel’s final gathering to Jerusalem, have no perception of the term “pasture in the wilderness” or what the ancient “tabernacle in the wilderness” was a pattern for. Isaiah 27:10 makes a statement that has never been properly understood. “The pasture ground will be left to itself and abandoned like a wilderness. There the calf will graze.” As a matter of fact, the 27th chapter of Isaiah describes events of the musterion from the beginning to the real final gathering.

This chapter along with “the valley of the vision” in Isaiah 22, plus the fantastic book of hidden secrets, Zephaniah, will be brought to light in the 5th thunder. At that time, a detailed enlightenment of the town where David encamped; “Ariel,” will allow us to discern the areas where the Jerusalem of prophecy will be created! It will also explain what will cause the devastation of these places that God’s people will re-inhabit and rebuild…. while those who didn’t obey the thunderous voice of God, struggle for life…. in the midst of the tribulation! Until then, the 33rd chapter of the prophet Jeremiah provides us with a description of the real gathering and a vision of the musterion that no seeker of truth can deny!

Verse 3 prepares us for the great and mighty things we are about to read. They have been in the past indeed, incomprehensible future events that we have not known!

Verses 6 &7: “I will heal them and reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.” “And I will bring back the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel, and I will build them just as at the start.”

Verses 10 & 11: “This is what Jehovah has said, ‘In this place that you people will be saying is waste without man and without domestic animal, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolated without man and without inhabitant and without domestic animal, there will yet be heard the sound of exultation and the sound of rejoicing, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride saying: ‘Laud Jehovah of armies, for Jehovah is good, for to time indefinite is his loving kindness.”

Verse 12: “This is what Jehovah of armies has said, ‘In this waste place without man and even domestic animal and in all its cities there will yet come to be the pasture ground of the shepherds who are making the flock lie down.”

Verse 14: “Look! There are days coming, is the utterance of Jehovah, and I shall certainly carry out the good word that I have spoken, concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah.”

Verse 16: “In those days, Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will reside in security. And this is what she will be called, Jehovah is Our Righteousness.”

These scriptures are great examples of how God has used stories of antiquity to disguise and describe His hidden plan of salvation. As previously stated, we do not have to join anything when it’s revealed…. But if we put it next to our hearts, He has promised to guide us to it, at the proper time…. Remember the revealing parts of these scriptures at (Isaiah 11:10, 11, 12, 16).

“And it must occur in that day that there will be the root of Jesse that will stand up as a signal for the peoples. To him even the nations will turn inquiringly, and his resting-place must become glorious.”

“And it must occur in that day that Jehovah will again offer His hand, a second time, to acquire the remnant of His people.”

“And he will certainly raise up a signal for the nations and gather the dispersed ones of Israel and the scattered ones of Judah he will collect together from the four extremities of the earth.”

“And there must come to be a highway…. just as there came to be one for Israel in the day of their coming up out of the land of Egypt.

When the tearing down of this system begins and the watery deep explodes into your life, open your heart directly to your God, just as Jonah did…..He will provide escape from the horrendous situations of the tribulation…..He will show you the highway that will lead straight to the paradigmatic Jerusalem of prophecy, and your salvation…There… God’s people will become united in truth and learn how to praise God in the manner that pleases Him!…. and…. as they are being prepared to live under the rule of God’s Kingdom…. they will experience the most anticipated event in the history of mankind…. the parousia of Jesus Christ!!!

This is God’s Sacred Secret, as told to His servants the prophets!!! (Revelation 10:7)

“Listen! Someone is calling out in the wilderness: “Clear up the way of Jehovah, You people! Make the highway for our God through the desert plain straight.”

“Let every valley be raised up, and every mountain and hill be made low. And the knobby ground must become level land, and the rugged ground a valley plain.”

“And the glory of Jehovah will certainly be revealed, and all flesh must see it together, for the very mouth of Jehovah has spoken it.”

Isaiah 40:3-5
