The phrase “passing away” is always associated with something that is about to give way to death. That is exactly the current condition of our present world system!
The statement made at 1st John 2:17 is being fulfilled right before our eyes! “The world and its desires will pass away, but he who does the will of God will remain forever.”
Even the many people who never give God or His Word any thought whatsoever have to admit; this world is changing! Since the beginning of 2016 devastating events that have affected the lives of people throughout the world are continuing to escalate.
As we have learned from the scriptures in previous posts, all the dates of events and festivals God set up for ancient Israel were established for the purpose of becoming guidelines for His people during these last days. Therefore it’s not surprising the prophesied events that will turn this world upside down began to reach new levels of distress as the 49th year of the 70th Shemitah period ended.
Violence and ruthless killings have forced thousands of people to leave their homelands and essentially make a run for their lives. More and more threats and plans of violent destructions are causing Ezekiel’s end time similitude to develop into an alarming reality! …. At Ezekiel 21:9-11 God gives the command to sound this warning to His people!!
“Son of man, prophesy: This is what the LORD says! You are to proclaim: A sword! A sword is sharpened for slaughter, polished to flash like lightening!” “The sword is given to be polished, to be grasped in the hand. It is sharpened, and it is polished, to be put in the hand of the slayer.”
What is this sword? ….This sword that has been given to the hand of a killer has been sharpened and polished since the days of Abraham’s sons, Ishmael and Isaac! Remember the things God told Abraham…. Ishmael would have 12 sons and become a great nation. His hand would be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. (Genesis 16:11, 12)
Because the primary goal of the sword is to destroy the altars of Judaism and Christendom, the leaders of these targets continually proclaim the acts of violence against them are the works and will of Satan. If they possessed understanding of the prophecies they would know this is absolutely not true! They remain blinded to the fact their false teachings are going to be replaced with true teachings! This is God’s will…. Certainly not the father of lies! This is why Revelation 3:9 refers to them as the synagogues of Satan.
By far, the most constant theme in the bible is God’s total disgust with false worship! Anyone who doesn’t realize that God Himself will be in control of whatever He uses to destroy men’s ways of worship and governing is certainly not reading the bible! Until this is accomplished the road to Him and His Kingdom’s rule will remain a cluttered and confused obstacle course! (Revelation 17:17)
It can’t be said any plainer or with any more urgency than this…….The time has come to quit listening to the lies of men!!! (Revelation 18:4) (Jeremiah 51:6, 12-14)
The 1st seal of the apocalypse was opened one year ago! Since that time people from every part of the globe have been called into a union with the son and the Father. (1st John 2:24) Has this union been formed through the words of a man? No! This world-wide unity of bible truth has taken place because of the fulfillment of the words of Jesus at (John 16:12, 13.)
“I have many things yet to say to you, but you are not able to bear them at present.” “However, when that one arrives, the spirit of truth, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak of his own impulse, but what things he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things coming.”
Did you think anything Jesus said would not come to pass? Because this promise of Jesus has come to fruition, everyone on earth has the opportunity to partake of the meal of life our Lord and savior is now serving. Because of this food at the proper time (Matthew 24:44, 45) anyone can make the choice to gather directly to the real mediator…. Jesus Christ! The Word is now shining brightly in the darkness of a world that is passing away! In this way, Jesus has become present, once again!! Now, because of the anointing spirit of Jesus Christ, the called out people do not need a man to teach them!
1st John 2:26-28 explains: “These things I write you, about those who are trying to mislead you.”
“And as for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, and you do not need any man to be teaching you; but, as the anointing from him is teaching you about all things, and is true, and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, remain in union with him.”
“So now, little children, remain in union with him, that when he is made manifest we may have freeness of speech and not be shamed away from him at his presence.”
For all of us who have spent most of our lives under the influence of men’s lies, 1st Corinthians 4:5 insures us our previous wrong thinking could not be avoided. It also stresses the importance of understanding exactly what occurred when Jesus opened the 1st seal…. And when it was opened!
“Hence do not judge anything before the due time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring the secret things of darkness to light, and make the counsels of the heart manifest, and then each one will have his praise come to him from God.”
If you have discerned the real meaning of all of these scriptures, you should now realize the very event the whole world is awaiting…. The 2nd coming of Jesus Christ…. Is connected to one thing…. The presence and manifestation of true knowledge!!!
The altars of men can keep waiting for his 2nd coming and keep watching the clouds…. But sooner or later everyone will know why Jesus is called The Word!!!
When the crowned rider with the bow went forth astride the white horse, arrows of truth began to be shot to all the nations of the earth! (Psalms 77:17, 18) The fulfillment of Matthew 24:14 began! The Word became present to those who have ears that hear and eyes that see!
These are people who put their trust in God’s Kingdom to provide the better life we all want. (Matthew 6:33) This type of person will have the insight to recognize the opening of the 1st seal! They will also acknowledge the events of the 16th chapter of John, and develop the personal relationship with Jesus we hear so much about. Many others claim to have this relationship, but it’s not hard to see they actually put most of their trust in politicians, world governments and personal finances to bring about a better life. This type of thinking absolutely contradicts God’s words at 1st John 2:15, 16.
“Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
“Because everything in the world, the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes, and the showy display of one’s means of life, does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world.”
Practically all of today’s formal worship is presented from the standpoint that love of country and love of God go hand in hand. However, James 1:27 states very clearly how our God views proper worship.
“The form of worship that is clean and undefiled from the standpoint of our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their tribulation, and to keep oneself without spot from the world.”
(For the sake of understanding what the many times referred to “orphans” and “widows” actually represent, remember this: God is our father and also our husbandly owner. God is actually saying: “Bring those without Him….to Him.” This explanation is mentioned only because most try to apply this phrase to orphans and widows in a literal sense.)
So, contrary to the accepted ways of the world, patriotism and Godliness do not go hand in hand. This is not meant to imply that we should diminish respect for the countries we live in, after all Jesus said to pay back Caesar’s things to Caesar, but God’s things to God. It means if we put our trust in world leaders instead of God’s Kingdom to solve our problems, we are putting trust in things that are passing away!
Isaiah 10:5-7 presents further proof that it is indeed God’s will to rid the world of those who teach lies and rob orphans and widows of every penny possible. He asks: “What will you men do at the day when being given attention and at the ruin, when it comes from far away?” The ones God is talking to always apply this similitude as meaningless history. They have no clue the “Assyrian” is the ancient description of the modern-day sword! God’s sword could attack the nations in a number of ways, including world-wide pestilences. It’s quite evident our esteemed religious leaders think God is not intelligent enough to use the prophets of old to explain the future. Make no mistake….He is!! Isaiah makes it very clear what’s going on in our world, as we speak!
“Aha, the Assyrian, the rod for my anger, and the stick that is in their hand for my denunciation! “Against an apostate nation I shall send him, and against the people of my fury I shall issue a command to him, to take much spoil and to take much plunder and to make it a trampling place like the clay of the streets. Though he may not feel that way, he will scheme, because to annihilate is in his heart, and to cut off nations, not a few.”
Many have experienced the wrath of God’s sword first hand, many others are about to. If you desire to understand more concerning the events that are now rocking the world, the 9th chapter of Isaiah sets the stage, and the rest of the 10th chapter continues the vivid description of destructions that will cut down all the valueless things men have put before God. (Ezekiel 5:13) The 11th chapter then continues to use the lingo of antiquity to explain how the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ will fill the earth with knowledge of The LORD, just like the waters cover the sea!
The ongoing activity of the sword will eventually produce enough world conflict and pestilences to take peace away from the earth, releasing the symbolic red horse of the 2nd seal! (Revelation 6:3, 4) These plagues will instigate a world economic crisis that will reach catastrophic proportions never before known. This crisis will even exceed what all the experts are now forecasting. As we all know, money is the driving force of this world. A sudden stock market crash or mass unemployment could catapult the world into the fulfillment of the prophecies found in Isaiah 19 and James 5 in a matter of days! As a result, world-wide food shortages will become prevalent, and the symbolic black horse of the 3rd seal will begin its prophesied ride across the earth. (Revelation 6:5, 6)
Some people are currently storing up food for this situation however their storage facilities could be wiped out in a milo-second. These people profess to be Christ’s followers but actually are trusting in themselves for their necessary provisions. They have failed to understand the salvation plan all the prophets have explained. (Revelation 10:7)
One of the many places that clearly explain the fabulous future God has in store for His consecrated people is recorded at Isaiah 60:1-5. Verse 5 speaks volumes to the people who will devote their heart to understanding and put their trust in Him!!
“At that time you will see and certainly become radiant, and your heart will actually quiver and expand, because to you the wealthiness of the sea will direct itself; the resources of the nations will come to you.”
This scripture leaves no doubt that God has plans to take care of the people who follow His Word and escape the tribulation. As for the ones who do not believe His salvation plan, wars, plagues and starvation equate to one thing….death! The going forth of the symbolic pale horse at the opening of the 4th seal (Revelation 6:8) can be avoided if you follow the information God has provided! Remember, God has never….and will never….cause any destruction to take place unless He has first provided a way out for righteous people! (1st Corinthians 10:13) This fact should confirm that true knowledge indeed, became a light to the nations when the 1st seal was opened! (Isaiah 42:6-9) (John 8:12)
We should now realize the events that are taking place are the acts of none other than the hand of God. This is clearly explained in the vision of Isaiah 34:1, 2.
“Come near, you nations, and listen, pay attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world, and all that comes out of it!”
“The LORD is angry with all nations; his wrath is upon all their armies. He will totally destroy them, he will give them to the slaughter.”
“But I will rescue you on that day , declares the LORD; you will not be handed over to those you fear.” “I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 39:17, 18)
“The creation itself will be set free from the bondage of corruption into the glorious freedom of God’s children.” (Romans 8:21)
As the Perfect Storm keeps pounding a world that is passing away….The Thunder will grow Louder!….The Word will Ride Faster!….The Lion’s Roar will be heard from one end of the earth to the other!!!!
